TRANSMISSION: Kaleidoscope

a year long apprenticeship sees fruition tomorrow

An experimental laboratory and incubatory platform organized by PHUNK for young creatives. This latest edition of TRANSMISSION comprises of 10 apprentices from varying creative disciplines and backgrounds, who have been under the mentorship of PHUNK over the period of one year. Specifically structured to facilitate collaborative projects between its apprentices and creatives from outside the program, TRANSMISSION: Kaleidoscope derives inspiration from the patterns that a kaleidoscope produces, and aims to explore the notion of change in a world of constant flux; the contrast between rest and movement, structure and chaos. Embark on a fascinating journey of rediscovery and reinterpretation in this showcase of design, illustration, installation, sculpture and video art.
